<p class="Paragraph">We will show you later how you to deal with all the functions possible in <help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> (including self-writing macros) to connect a function as an icon in a toolbar.</p>

<p class="P2">Open a document of the type for which you want to modify the toolbar. If you want to modify the text object bar for all text documents, open a text document, and then do the same for the other document types.</p>

<p class="P2">Open the context menu of the toolbar and select the <span class="T1">Edit</span> command.</p>

<p class="P2">At the bottom of the dialog select the desired function category and the function.</p>

<p class="P2">If no suitable icon is displayed for this function, click <span class="T1"><text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>Icon... </span>and select an appropriate icon. Confirm with <span class="T1">OK</span>.</p>

<p class="P2">Now drag the selected icon out of the dialog while keeping the mouse button pressed and drop it on the toolbar. Release the mouse in the place where you want the new icon to be. Close the dialog.</p>

<p class="P3">Hold the (Ctrl) key down and double-click a gray area of the toolbar. You come to a free window.</p>

<p class="P3">Drag the toolbar to its new position. If you release the mouse key while holding down the (Ctrl) key, and if the toolbar is also over a window border, the toolbar will dock with the window border.</p>
